Durham Jones & Pinegar announced today that Jordan K. Cameron, Shareholder in DJP’s Lehi Office, was selected as a Utah Business Magazine 2017 Forty Under 40 Award Honoree.
The competitive annual program recognizes professionals under the age of 40 who demonstrate extraordinary leadership qualities. Program nominees are judged on leadership skills, community involvement, noteworthy achievements, philosophy on business and the benefits they have individually brought to Utah’s business economy and community. Cameron will be honored at the Utah Business Forty under 40 luncheon on February 23, 2017 at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City.
Jordan Cameron is an experienced litigator and business strategist. His practice focuses on a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on Federal Court litigation. Notably, Mr. Cameron has pioneered compliance and litigation strategies in areas of Internet advertising/sales regulations and FTC advertising/sales compliance – including the federal CAN-SPAM Act, corresponding state laws, and similar consumer protection laws. Regarding the CAN-SPAM Act, Mr. Cameron is among the few attorneys in the country who frequently represents clients in this area, and regularly acts as a consultant to other plaintiff and defense attorneys across the nation. In this area, Mr. Cameron represents various, well-known Internet service providers in claims against individuals and networks who unlawfully utilize the ISP’s systems to abuse federal e-mail marketing laws. He has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and judgments for his clients.
