Victor A. Taylor has joined Durham Jones & Pinegar as a shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate Section.

Mr. Taylor practiced as a real estate lawyer with the law firm of Parr Brown Gee & Loveless in Salt Lake City for 31 years, and then spent the past four years as an Area Legal Counsel for the Philippines and Asia North Areas for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While working for the LDS Church, he was responsible locally for delivery of legal services regarding Church interests and entities in the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Guam, Micronesia, Palau and the Northern Mariana Islands. He previously has served as the Chair of the Real Property Section of the Utah State Bar Association and as President of Parr Brown from 2008 to 2009.

Mr. Taylor represents developers, lenders, investors and commercial users in purchase, sale, development, leasing and financing transactions. His experience includes work on a large variety of real estate projects, including undeveloped tracts of land and major office, retail, industrial, warehouse, apartment, condominium, recreational, agricultural, hospital, nursing home and resort properties.
