James Larson is an experienced Intellectual Property attorney. He focuses mainly on patent and trademark prosecution. James also has extensive experience in license and royalty agreements specifically in relation to IP matters and has drafted licenses worth eight figures. James has successfully prosecuted 100s of patent and trademark applications to issuance and registration, respectively, in a variety of technologies including software, medical devices, mechanical and electrical devices.
James’s work as an in-house attorney has made him well suited to either help small companies manage and grow their IP portfolios as well as larger companies leverage and license their IP portfolios. His work is creative in that he sees every opportunity to help the business utilize its IP for its advantage. James has the unique ability to explain the difficult nuances of patent and trademark law to the novice IP developer, while also speaking confidently with the well versed IP holder.
