Brooke practices in the firm’s Business & Finance section, with a special focus on ERISA matters. She works with employers and other plan sponsors to resolve issues related to both qualified and non-qualified benefit plans, including 401(k), pension, VEBAs, and ESOPs. She has experience drafting plan documents, representing plans in IRS audits, and advising clients on DOL compliance.
Prior to joining DJP, Brooke was an ERISA litigator in Washington, DC, representing classes of plan beneficiaries against large financial institutions in claims of breach of fiduciary duty. Her experience in litigation brings valuable insight into her transactional work with ERISA clients.
Brooke is a member of the Utah Women Lawyers of Utah and the Young Lawyers Division of the Utah Bar Association.
