Firm Culture
Durham Jones & Pinegar is a Utah professional corporation whose board of directors is elected by the shareholders. Our board of directors sets firm policy and our President and Firm Administrator manage day-to-day affairs of the firm.
Our firm culture focuses on delivering high quality legal services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Teamwork and good communication are vital to the success of our firm. Each member of our team is valued. Attorneys and staff are given the opportunity to maximize their potential. We have invested extensively in technology, helping us maintain a competitive edge.
We have high hiring standards. Most of our associates have graduated near the top of their class, and have had Law Review Experience. Associates are hired with the hope and expectation that if they perform well, they will qualify after a prescribed number of years to become shareholders in the firm. New associates are given responsibility early in their tenure with the firm. Associates are assigned to one or two sections of the firm, and they are mentored and supervised by a shareholder of the firm. Our associate development committee oversees and coordinates the training of associates.
Careful attention is given to the management aspects of running Durham Jones & Pinegar as a business. Each attorney is expected to contribute to the profit of the firm. This philosophy has enabled Durham Jones & Pinegar to have continuous growth in profitability and to maintain economic stability.
