The Utah Bar Association honored several judges and attorneys at the 2012 Fall Forum, an annual seminar for Utah attorneys, that discusses law-related and current legal issues. Among the honorees at the Fall Forum was Paul Durham, the founder of Durham Jones & Pinegar, who was awarded the Professionalism Award.
Durham founded Durham Jones & Pinegar more than 20 years ago. Over the years, the firm grew to become one of the largest law firms in Utah. It currently employs more than 80 attorneys working in Salt Lake City, Ogden, St. George and Las Vegas.
For 16 years, Durham was the firm’s president and chairman of the board. He currently serves as general counsel to the firm and as a member of the firm’s board of directors.
Durham’s practice concentrates on real estate law, mergers & acquisitions, and civil litigation. He has served in various community-service capacities over the years and currently serves as the chair of Pioneer Theatre Company’s Board of Trustees, he is a member and counsel to the Executive committee of the 2014 AZP Tax Renewal Committee.
He has been named consistently as one of the Best Lawyers®, in Super Lawyers and in Utah Business Magazine’s Legal Elite.
