Salt Lake City — Attorneys Jason Krause and Paul T. Moxley have joined the law office of Durham Jones & Pinegar in the firm’s Salt Lake City office.
Moxley, a shareholder with the firm, is a seasoned trial attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial and contract litigation, securities, fraud, product liability and white collar crime matters. Moxley has gained notoriety representing physicians, lawyers, governmental officials and other professionals in complex cases.
Moxley has practiced law for 40 years in Utah. He is currently on the American Bar Association’s Board of Governors, representing all lawyers from Utah, Idaho, Nevada and Hawaii. He is the State Chair of the American Bar Associate Fellows. Only 1/3 of 1 percent of the entire lawyer population is asked to be a Fellow for the organization.
He is the recipient of a number of civic awards in honor of his contributions to the legal profession, including Distinguished Lawyer of the Year for 2009 from the Utah Bar Association. He is an AV-rated Martindale Hubbell attorney and is routinely recognized by Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers and Utah Business Magazine’s Legal Elite. In addition to practicing law as a litigator, Moxley acts as a mediator for many commercial disputes.
Krause joins the firm as an associate attorney after practicing law for nearly a decade in New York City, most recently with the law offices of Boies, Schiller & Flexner. Krause’s practice deals mainly in corporate/transactional law and corporate litigation. He received his B.S., in Psychology from Brigham Young University, and received his J.D., from Columbia University School of Law. He was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and Senior Editor of the American Review of International Arbitration.
