< Return to Articles Paul Durham presents Real Estate topic at Utah State Bar Spring Meeting (Read full article) March 11, 2005 Paul Durham gave a presentation on March 11, 2005 at the Spring Meeting of the Utah State Bar in St. George, Utah. Mr. Durham's topic was "Real Estate Law for Paralegals." The presentation covered basic real estate concepts that paralegals encounter in their practice, including due diligence matters, representations and warranties, and distinctions between various types of real estate documents.
Mr. Durham is President of Durham Jones & Pinegar. He practices in real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial litigation. He represents developers, resort management companies, lenders, real estate brokers, real property owners and other businesses. In his real estate practice, Mr. Durham has substantial experience in contract negotiation and preparation, real estate closings, escrow instructions and documentation, real estate purchases and sasles, financing, workouts, easements and right-of-way matters, leasing, real estate development, subdivisions, eminent domain, zoning and land use.
Mr. Durham received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Utah. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the Utah Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board.
