DJP Welcomes Six New Attorneys to Its Salt Lake and St. George Offices

Durham Jones & Pinegar is pleased to announce that the following attorneys have joined the firm:
Jodi L. Howick is a Shareholder in DJP’s Salt Lake City office. Her practice focuses on aviation and transportation law, government law, and construction and development. Ms. Howick previously served as counsel for the Salt Lake City International Airport for 15 years, and she is an adjunct professor of Aviation Law at Westminster College. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah in 1983 (B.A., English), and she received her J.D. from the University of Utah in 1989 (Order of the Coif).
Bret F. Randall, Of Counsel, leads DJP’s environment, energy and natural resources practice from the firm’s Salt Lake City office. Over many years practicing with two national law firms, Mr. Randall played industry-leading roles in the redevelopment of thousands of acres of environmentally sensitive properties. He also has significant energy sector operational, permitting, and compliance experience. He graduated in 1990 from Brigham Young University (B.A., English), and he received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU (summa cum laude, Order of the Coif) in 1993.
Jason C. Farrington is Of Counsel with DJP’s Las Vegas office. His practice focuses on bankruptcy & creditors’ rights. He graduated from Southern Utah University (B.A., Political Science) in 1999, and received his J.D. in 2002 from the University of Nevada--Las Vegas.
Patrick E. Johnson is an Associate in the firm’s Salt Lake City office. His practice focuses on commercial litigation. He graduated from Davidson College (B.S., Biology) in 1998, and received his J.D. from the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2005.
Burton G. Davis is an Associate in the firm’s Salt Lake City office. His practice focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation and employment and labor law. He graduated from the University of Utah (B.S., Economics) in 2004. He received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU (magna cum laude) in 2008.
Melinda L. Hill is an Associate in the firm’s St. George office. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2005 (B.A., Political Science; B.S., Mass Communications,magna cum laude), and received her J.D. in 2008 from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU (cum laude).
