DJP Shareholder Ken Cannon Appointed Chair of Local Rules Committee for Bankruptcy Court

Salt Lake Shareholder Ken Cannon has been appointed by the Bankruptcy Judges to chair the Local Rules Committee for the Bankruptcy Court. The committee consists of five lawyers who are to review and, as appropriate, propose changes to the Local Bankruptcy Rules and the Local District Court Rules as they relate to bankruptcy. Mr. Cannon is the Chair of the firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Section. He is featured on the 2008 Mountain States Super Lawyers "Top 75" list, which includes attorneys throughout Utah, Nevada, Montana, and Wyoming who received the highest point totals in the Super Lawyers nomination, research, and blue ribbon review process in the category of Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights. He has been listed among the Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law. He is also included in the list of “Utah’s Legal Elite” by Utah Business magazine in the area of Bankruptcy/Workout.
