Corporate Tax Attorney Mark Astling Joins DJP

Durham Jones & Pinegar is pleased to announce Mark Astling has joined the firm as an associate. Mr. Astling's area of expertise is corporate taxation. He comes to DJP from the Salt Lake office of Stoel Rives, where he practiced for the past three years. Prior to that, Mr. Astling worked for three years with Deloitte & Touche as a tax consultant. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, in 2003, and received a BS in accounting from the University of Utah in 2000. He has broad experience in federal and state tax matters, including business formations, equity compensation, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, tax accounting, tax exempt organizations, and other tax planning matters. Mr. Astling’s area of practice will complement DJP’s existing strong partnership tax expertise.
