COLLECTIONS MANAGER – SALT LAKE CITY

Professional, highly experienced FT collections manager is needed for large, well-established law firm headquartered in SLC with multiple offices in Utah. Prior successful collections experience in a professional setting is highly desirable. Will have responsibility for overseeing timely collection of the firm’s A/R accounts, assisting in the development and implementation of effective collection policies and procedures, negotiating and supervising appropriate payment arrangements for delinquent accounts, monitoring and reporting regularly to firm management regarding compliance with policies and procedures, and meeting regularly with firm management to review and report collection trends, data, progress and results.

Strong work ethic, exceptional organizational and computer skills, the ability to work well independently, and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel, while cultivating trust with attorneys and clients are imperative. Must enjoy providing customer service and be comfortable contacting directly clients with delinquent or past-due accounts. Good written, oral and reading communication skills and attention to detail are required. Other qualifications required include proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and strong mathematical skills. Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines, as well as take pride in their work.

PART-TIME COPY SERVICE CLERK

Durham Jones & Pinegar is seeking a part-time Copy Services Clerk to work in our downtown SLC office Monday-Friday from 2:00-6:00. Must be a motivated tech savvy self-starter, work well independently, and possess strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Primary responsibilities include copying and scanning, mail receipt and distribution, internal deliveries and pick-ups, maintaining photocopiers, handling outside courier runs and other miscellaneous responsibilities. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – IT HELP DESK/SOFTWARE SPECIALIST

The software specialist will provide help desk support, document formatting support on complex Word documents, troubleshooting with Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft applications and will also provide assistance in testing new or upgraded applications and training employees on firm software.

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and its related products.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Word template systems.
  • Experience with networking and Microsoft Windows 7/8/10.
  • Prior law firm experience as a trainer and MCT/MOS certification(s) is highly desirable.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and be able to explain technical issues to employees.

  • The ability to provide backup support to system administrators as needed.

ERISA ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – SALT LAKE CITY 

Durham Jones & Pinegar, P.C. is seeking a mid-level ERISA associate attorney for our Salt Lake City office.  The ideal candidate will have a good general working knowledge of ERISA, the applicable benefit plan provisions of the Internal Revenue Code, regulatory and sub-regulatory guidance and at least 3-5 years of sophisticated experience in a broad range of employee benefits matters, including design and implementation of qualified retirement plans, ERISA fiduciary rules and welfare benefit plan compliance issues.  Duties include employee benefit plan drafting and review, evaluating compliance with applicable laws and regulations, advising plan fiduciaries and negotiating agreements with other plan service providers.  Experience with the benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions and issues involving benefit and executive compensation plans, including ESOPs and VEBAs, is desirable.

Applicants should have strong prior benefit plan experience with a major law firm, and possess superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
