TRANSACTION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – SALT LAKE CITY

Durham Jones & Pinegar, P.C. is seeking a mid-level transaction associate attorney for its Salt Lake City office. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of sophisticated experience in entity governance, financings, mergers & acquisitions and general business transactions.

In particular, candidates should have solid experience representing clients in all aspects of equity and debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising clients on compliance and general business matters.  Additionally, candidates should have substantial experience related to:

  • entity formation and the structuring of transactions,
  • negotiating and drafting complex transaction documents,
  • managing the due diligence process and transaction closings, and
  • federal and state securities laws filings.

Applicants should have strong prior experience with a major law firm, and possess superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.

PATENT PROSECUTION PARALEGAL – LEHI

The Lehi office of a large Salt Lake City-based law firm is seeking an experienced full-time paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of solid patent prosecution experience. The ideal candidate will be experienced in U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution, including management of patent and trademark dockets. Exceptional time management and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work well under pressure. Must have bachelor’s degree, a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved institution, or prior substantive experience as a patent prosecution paralegal.
