Durham Jones & Pinegar is a member of the World Services Group organization (WSG). It is the world’s largest interdisciplinary network that includes more than 11,000 individuals representing more than 136 jurisdictions. The group is comprised of the leading law firms around the world plus investment banking and accounting firms.
Each member firm is chosen through a nomination process put forth through WSG’s Board of Directors. And each member firm is the sole representative for the region and service they have joined.
Durham Jones & Pinegar is the sole representative for legal services in the state of Utah. Membership in WSG enables the firm to have relationships with top-tier law firms and other interdisciplinary firms throughout the world.
We also routinely represent clients with interests in Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America. A majority of our attorneys have lived abroad and speak a second language, including: Bulgarian, Cape Verdean Creole, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Malagasy, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Sign Language (SEE) and Spanish.
Our attorneys have represented clients with interests in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Australia. Kevin Pinegar, our Managing Partner, and one of our founding attorneys, completed post-graduate studies at McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific European Law Program, Salzburg, Austria, receiving a diploma in Advanced International Legal Studies in 1983. He served for many years as an officer and director of the World Trade Association of Utah. He is a member of the International Bar Section of the Utah State Bar. Mr. Pinegar has published numerous articles on topics of international law. Mr. Pinegar and Shareholder Paul M. Durham have served on seminar panels in Utah and abroad on topics of international law.
